Your Fitness: Is coaching too expensive?

You notice your overall physical and mental health has improved as a result of the work you and your coach have put in towards each variable in your lifestyle.

At times it is brought to my attention that the services of a personal trainer, online coach or similar are undervalued by some. In this article I hope to offer my insights, although biased, on where people should see the value in such services at some point during their life.

  • Your knowledge and awareness on nutrition improves!
  • You now better understand how to track your calories and better understand how to structure your nutrition within your life.
  • Your training gets better!
  • You now better understand where you have been going wrong in the gym and have a better understanding of what you can do in the gym to make progress.
  • Your sleep has now improved!
  • You now better understand sleep hygiene and are consistently sleeping better week-to-week and understand how to sustain this.
  • Your stress levels are now reduced!
  • You now have more strategies in place to manage stress, not to mention having someone in your corner to help with decision-making across the week when issues arise.
  • Your health is now in a better place!
  • You notice your overall physical and mental health has improved as a result of the work you and your coach have put in towards each variable in your lifestyle.
  • You now feel more confident in your own skin!
  • You now have a spring in your step and no longer worry about trying to find clothes you feel more comfortable in as you have gotten in much better shape and have become more confident in your own skin along the way.

The cost now is likely far less than the cost down the line if we don’t look after our health and wellbeing. It only becomes expensive when the value is missing. 

With the right coach, you can change your life for the better. In most cases it will just depend on this - where is your value?
