On Monday, July 28, our U12 team had the incredible opportunity to take part in a Hurling Activity Day at the iconic Croke Park. The day began with a guided stadium tour, giving the boys a behind-the-scenes look at one of Ireland’s most famous sporting venues. This was followed by three exciting matches played on the hallowed turf itself. Naomh Bríd faced strong opposition from Valley Rovers (Cork), Doon (Limerick), and Abbeydorney (Kerry). Across all games, our players showed great skill, determination, and teamwork. A total of 23 boys took part in the event representing our U12, U11, and U10 squads. The trip was made even more special by the large group of parents and supporters who travelled with the team, nearly 50 in total. Thanks to the generous support of the community and the success of the previous week’s Bake Sale, a bus was arranged to transport everyone to Dublin. It was a truly memorable experience for the boys and their families, one that will stay with them for years to come. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special for our young players.
