Sliabh gCua representatives at the county final of Scór na bPáistí held last weekend in Cappoquin. Sliabh gCua was well represented in the county final of Scór na bPáistí which was recently held in Cappoquin. Sliabh gCua had two groups taking part in the instrumental music category. Sliabh gCua A team was represented by Robyn Flynn, Olivia Whelan and Brian Lonergan while the Sliabh gCua B team was represented by Issie McCabe, Tomás Lonergan, Orla Lonergan and Lachlan McGrath. In the Tráth na gCeist, we were represented by Emma Burke, Niamh Burke, Caoimhe Hickey and Teagan Mulcahy. Sliabh gCua set dancing club was represented by the figure dancing and set dancing groups. The figure dancing team consisted of Emma Burke, Niamh Burke, Sheenagh Coffey, Olivia Whelan, Teagan Mulcahy, Issie McCabe, Caoimhe Hickey and Annie Ahearne.
In the set dancing we were represented by Emma Burke, Niamh Burke, Annie Ahearne, Issie McCabe, Grace Coffey, Brian Lonergan, Bill Flynn and Jamie Burke. A huge well done to all who took part and to all the parents, grandparents, guardians and tutors as well, for all their hard work. It was great to see so many local and county clubs being represented last Sunday. The future looks bright for Scór na bPáístí.
Well done to Dayna Hallinan and Síne Power who were selected for the primary game teams in football and Camogie. Dayna will play on the football team in Thurles at half time at the Tipperary/Waterford game on April 5. Síne will play on the camogie team in Walshe Park at half time at the Waterford/Limerick game on May 3. Best of luck to both girls.

The jackpot numbers last Sunday night were 18, 25, 30 and there was no winner, so next week's draw will be for €2,000. The winners of the five x €20 draws were Geraldine Ryan, Terri Fitzpatrick, the Keane sisters, Betty Condon and Dean Cliffe. The promoter's prize of €20 was won by Thomas Keane.
Congratulations to Stephen Cliffe who won the lotto jackpot of €14,300 in the Colligan GAA black and amber lotto, on St Patrick's night. Well done Stephen.
