The Ballymacarbry Tidy Towns Committee celebrating their gold medal win in the National Supervalu Tidy Towns Competition
On Easter Monday, a group of dedicated volunteers came together to clean up the village and surrounding areas, giving their own time for the benefit of the entire parish. Their efforts are greatly appreciated by the community.

It is therefore disappointing to note that a black bag was recently dumped at the clothes bank in the village, undermining the goodwill and hard work shown by those involved in the cleanâup. We kindly ask everyone to respect our community and dispose of waste responsibly. Cllr Donnchadh Mulcahy has advised that if bins are full or an area requires attention, people should not hesitate to contact him directly on 086 3991153, and he will report the matter to the relevant section.
