The Community Text Alert Service is still ongoing and open to any member of the public to join. Messages include notifications from the Gardaí, Met Éireann and others. To join, please contact Kill Action Group on 086 3772945.
Kill Action Group is a registered provider for the Senior Alert Scheme which provides a personal monitored alarm for those aged 65 and over, living alone or with another person who meets eligibility criteria and residing within the area. The equipment is free, however there is a fee for monitoring. Either a landline, mobile phone or broadband connection is required. Contact Marie Whelan on 087 2871307.
Social Dancing: Jimmy Hogan and Lar Kenny will entertain on Wednesday, May 27. Wednesday night dancing runs 9pm to 11.30pm with complimentary tea, coffee and a sweet treat. Sunday afternoon social dancing runs from 3pm to 6pm. Declan Aungier is next on the line-up on Sunday, May 31.
