A gorgeous display of art from second year St. Angelas Ursuline student Ayona is currently on display at Ardkeen Library.
Ayona is a talented local artist who works in paint marker, watercolours and digitally.
Originally from Kerala, India and now living in Waterford, Ayona says she likes to spend her time watching anime, reading in the library and drawing or painting whenever inspiration strikes.

Following last year’s unforgettable debut, The Juniors for Juniors Winter Ball is set to return for its second year on Thursday, February 20, 2026 at Faithlegg House Hotel.
Hosted by Juniors for Juniors, this annual black-tie fundraiser has quickly become one of the Waterford’s most anticipated social events.
Juniors for Juniors are a local organisation who provide support to young patients and their families at University Hospital Waterford.
Last year’s winter ball was a phenomenal success, bringing together families, supporters, and local businesses for an evening of glamour, entertainment, and community spirit.
Guests enjoyed exquisite dining, live music, and dancing, all while raising funds for Juniors for Juniors’ work with University Hospital Waterford (UHW) and for children across the southeast.

The Haven Hotel Dunmore East Haven Fest is a brand new outdoor music festival taking place on the grounds of The Haven Hotel in Dunmore East across the weekend of June 26th, 27th and 28th.
The weekend will feature a packed lineup, including The Stunning, Mad Ferritt, Gavin James, The Whistlin Donkeys and more.
