One of the most iconic names from Australian TV is bringing his band to Waterford for an intimate gig at Bank Lane.
Millions of people know Alan Fletcher as the legendary Dr Karl Kennedy in the Oz drama, 'Neighbours.
However, what people might not be as familiar with is the fact that Alan Fletcher and his band have established themselves as a powerhouse Americana/Alt-country act in the UK and Ireland after three years on the touring circuit.
The band perfectly blend, rollicking, amusing and upbeat, rhythm and blues Americana with thought-provoking and moving emotional ballads guaranteed to delight, audiences of all ages and tastes.
The forthcoming gig in Waterford, which will take place on August 28, will form part of an extensive UK and Irish tour that will see the actor and his band perform a multiple string of dates across Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
The gigs this month will see Fletcher appear alongside his musical partner Jennifer Hansen and accompanist Riley Catherall in seven intimate shows that will be sure to thrill audiences.
The forthcoming gig in Waterford will be one of three dates in Ireland - with two other appearances in Dublin and Belfast - and it promises to be one of the music highlights of the year.
