Murder mystery dining, river cruises and more at Waterford Harvest Festival
Waterford Harvest Festival has announced a programme of ticketed events for this year's three-day celebration, taking place September 4 to 6.
Among the highlights of this year's programme are interactive dining experiences, scenic river cruises featuring top chefs, guided foraging walks, comedy nights and live music from one of Ireland's most acclaimed vocalists.
Programme Highlights From the creators of Faulty Towers The Dining Experience, which proved wildly popular at last year’s festival, comes a new laugh-out-loud murder mystery dinner show.
Guests will join Holmes, Watson and Mrs Hudson for a fully interactive evening of comedy, mystery and a three-course meal, complete with deadly twists and dastardly turns. The event takes place on September 6 at Dooleys Hotel.
Harvest Festival guests can also enjoy Ireland’s greatest jazz and blues singer, Mary Coughlan, as she brings 40 years of raw, powerful performance to one of Waterford's most stunning venues, Christchurch Cathedral.
‘Mary Coughlan in Concert’ will take place on September 4 The festival's hugely popular river cruises also return this with three unique experiences along the River Suir, including a sunset voyage with Kyoto Sushi Masters, an afternoon disco brunch on the water and an elegant afternoon tea excursion with Michelin-starred pastry chef Tom Phelan of The Lady Helen Restaurant, Mount Juliet Estate.
An evening of hilarious stand-up comedy curated by Kilkenny Comedy Club, a guided walking tour of ethnic restaurants across the city, a guided foraging experience at Mount Congreve Gardens, a gentle morning yoga session with breakfast, and a tour of Waterford gastronomic delights
