Status Orange rain warning forces sporting cancellations

Sporting fixtures across Waterford are set to suffer for another day as the Status Orange rain warning for Waterford has already led to some cancellations. 

The Waterford County Board have confirmed that the Premier Intermediate football semi-final between Stradbally and De La Salle is postponed along with the relegation game between Portlaw and Rathgormack. Brickey Rangers and An Rinn, which was due to be played in the Senior football relegation at Fraher Field tomorrow evening is also postponed. These fixtures will be re-fixed by the CCC later this evening. 

All Waterford Schoolboy Football League games scheduled tomorrow including SFAI cup competitions are cancelled. Other sporting fixtures across Waterford are expected to be impacted by the weather alert.
