Jessica Heffernan has been with City Square Shopping Centre since 2018, initially joining as the Customer Service and Marketing Manager.

Over the years, Jessica has proven herself as a key figure within the organization, advancing to the role of Assistant Manager. Jessica says "I feel very fortunate to wake up every morning and look forward to going to work. I’m aware that is quite rare and it’s something that I do not take for granted” What Jessica loves most about her role is the variety and ever-changing nature of her day-to-day responsibilities. As Assistant Manager, she wears many hats, balancing a wide array of tasks that keep her engaged and motivated. From managing the Shopping Centre’s social media platforms and websites to interacting with customers, tenants, and contractors, no two days are ever the same.

And let's not forget about the events! Jessica’s the mastermind behind all of City Square’s exciting happenings. "We’ve already got 12 events lined up for this year, including a Taylor Swift-themed event, an onsite Mini Farm and a visit from the Nutty Scientists just to name a few. With families in mind, Jessica makes sure there’s always something fun and free to keep the kids entertained during weekends and midterms.

At the heart of everything Jessica does is her commitment to delivering top-notch service and creating positive experiences for everyone who walks through the doors. Over the past 12 months, Jessica has placed a strong focus on initiatives such as Autism-Friendly Shopping. As part of this effort, the shopping centre has introduced complimentary Sensory Support Kits for visitors who may need them. Additionally, a storyboard has been created on the centre’s website www-City-Square.ie to help reduce any stress for first-time visitors.

As a woman in business, Jessica is a shining example of how hard work, passion and a little bit of fun can turn a job into a dream role. Jessica continues to grow and leave her mark on City Square, bringing the same infectious energy that first inspired her to join the team.
