Hannah Pepper: From Student to Success with Beautorium Training Academy

For many aspiring artists, a career in makeup begins with creativity, passion, and a dream. For Hannah, that journey started at a young age, inspired by artists such as Keilidh Cashell and a love of experimenting with looks, which she shared on social media from an early stage.

Her first step into the professional world came during Transition Year, when she completed her work experience with Beautorium Training Academy. It was here that Hannah was introduced to a real working environment and further developed her passion for makeup artistry.

Following this, Hannah continued to build on her skills, training, and experience with Beautorium, further developing her technique and confidence. However, it quickly became clear that her true passion lay in makeup artistry-particularly within the creative world of TV and film.

Having attended the Professional Hair and Beauty Show the previous year in 2025 alongside Joanne, Hannah was inspired by the level of creativity and talent on display. When the opportunity arose to compete this year, she was eager to take part.

Entering the competition, Hannah proudly chose to represent Beautorium Training Academy. She showcased her “Underwater Realm” look, with months of preparation, development going into the design and execution of the piece under guidance and mentoring by Joanne, Beautoriums Creative MUA teacher.

“I was nervous on the day, but so proud to represent Beautorium, Joanne's support and mentoring has been amazing from day one” Hannah said.

“Winning was an unforgettable moment and made all the hard work worth it.”

Joanne, Founder and Director of Beautorium Training Academy and Waterford Skin & Laser Clinic, has supported Hannah throughout her journey.

“It’s always so rewarding to see a student grow in confidence and find their direction,” she said.

“Hannah has shown real dedication and creativity, and it’s been a pleasure to support her along the way. I am so very proud of her and very excited to see whats next for Hannah” Now looking to the future, Hannah is preparing to take the next step in her career by continuing her studies with Beautorium, including their ITEC Fashion, Theatre and Media Makeup course this September, where she will continue to develop her skills for work in TV, film, and creative industries."

Beautorium Training Academy offers a wide range of internationally recognised training programmes across advanced skincare, laser & IPL, and creative makeup, supporting students at every stage of their journey.

Hannah’s story is a reminder that with passion, guidance, and the right opportunities, a career in the beauty industry can truly begin to take shape.
