'Smear' promises to be an insightful and thoughful production in Waterford

One of the plays due to be staged in Waterford over the coming weeks promises to be one of the most though-provoking and insightful to be produced in the Déise county.
'Smear', by Christa De Brun, will be put on by Stagemad Theatre Company as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations.
Under the title, 'Five for 2025', the theatre company will be staging five original plays between June 20 and 22.

They will be performed in the Coastguard Cultural Centre in Tramore.
'Smear', is a story that bears testimony to the legacy of the late Vicky Phelan, who was a tireless advocate for women's health until her passing in 2022.
Ms Phelan worked hard and devoted her time to making Ireland a safer place for all women and families.
Tickets for the production are selling fast and early booking is advisable.

The production will feature the incredible talent of award winning actor Nicola Spendlove and will be directed by Green Room award-winning professional director, Derek Flynn.'
