Yellow weather warning for Waterford on Saturday

A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Waterford on Saturday by Met Éireann.

The national weather service is warning that heavy, persistent rain is predicted to hit Waterford, Cork, and Kerry over the weekend. The weather warning will be in place from 12am on Saturday, October 5, until 12am on Sunday, October 6.

Met Éireann has forecast that localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions may occur during this period.

The Met office has also issued a small craft warning for the entire south coast of Ireland, forecasting that south and southeast winds will reach force 6 or higher at times. This warning is in place from tonight (Thursday) until midnight on Saturday night.
