Woman in court for spate of Waterford thefts from Shaws, Guiney's, TK Maxx, Aldi and more
The woman had 25 previous convictions, 19 of which were for theft.
A woman was sentenced in court last week for a series of thefts she committed across Waterford city.
Chloe O’Connor (27), of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act (theft and fraud), for committing thefts from Aldi the Glen, TK Maxx, Guiney's, Shaws, Dealz and Homesavers.
She has 25 previous convictions, 19 of which are for theft.
Judge Kevin Staunton said most of the charges were relatively minor shoplifting-type incidents.
For the charge of stealing clothing from TK Maxx, she was sentenced to nine months. All other matters were taken into consideration.
