A plan approved for an offshore wind farm off the coast of Waterford was a topic of discussion at a recent meeting of the Dungarvan-Lismore district council.
Councillor Pat Nugent said: "From a Dungarvan point of view, will they be visible?"
Senior planner for Waterford City and County Council Aisling O'Sullivan replied: "We'll have to wait and see Councillor."
She explained that her jurisdiction only applied to three nautical miles out from shore.
She continued: "I will not be making any statements on this because we will probably have to make our own submission in due course on this."
Cllr Nugent responded that Ms O'Sullivan should "let him know anyway" whenever she gets more information.
