South East Astronomy are hosting a viewing meet up for next week’s solar eclipse.
The eclipse is due to take place on Wednesday, August 12, just after 6 pm, when the moon will move in front of the sun.
This event is rare and won’t happen again until 2090.
South East Astronomy is inviting the public to watch the eclipse with them at Hillview, off the Cleaboy Road and adjacent to the De La Salle GAA, meeting at 6pm.
The group say this elevated site will provide a clear view and hopes you will join them.
