Met Eireann have issued a moderate weather warning for thunderstorms over Co. Waterford.

The Yellow Thunderstorm warning is valid from 1pm today (May 20) until 8pm tonight.

Locals are being warned that scattered thunderstorms may develop with impacts of spot flooding and lightning damage.

Other impacted areas include Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Wexford, Wicklow, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Galway.
