A status yellow rain warning has been issued for Waterford this evening.
The warning will come into effect at 9pm and will last until 3 am tomorrow, Saturday, morning.
Met Éireann has forecast blustery spells of heavy rain. They say this could result in spot flooding, difficult travel conditions and impaired visibility.
