Waterford part of new HSE regional division

County Waterford is part of a new HSE Dublin and South East Health regional division
Waterford has been moved into a new HSE regional division for healthcare services.
The Déise county has been moved into a Dublin and South East Health Region in which there are three healthcare areas.
HSE Dublin Carlow, Kilkenny and Tipperary South, HSE Waterford Wexford and HSE Dublin South East.
A spokesperson for the HSE said the new regional division will manage and deliver all public health and social care services in Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny, Carlow, South East Dublin, South Tipperary and East Wicklow.
That means the regional division covers an area where almost one million people live.
HSE services working within this region include: Hospitals, Primary Care centres, community care, social care services and other community based healthcare services.
