A Waterford native, Chris started his hospitality career when he was just 15 years of age. He completed work experience, followed by a summer job as porter, at Dooley's Hotel in Waterford City.

A spokesperson for Faithlegg said Chris worked hard to develop his career and took on a variety of roles in Dooley’s hotel including those of waiter and bartender, through which he was promoted to bar supervisor.

During this time Chris also completed a business degree, in 2008, from South East Technology University, then known as WIT, before returning to Dooley's Hotel where he progressed to Bar Manager and then to Duty Manager, in 2010. It’s a fantastic opportunity for me and a role I have worked towards since I began my hospitality career.” “Faithlegg is a property I am very proud to work with and the Faithlegg family are a wonderful team to have around me,” said Chris. “I look forward to welcoming our guests as Deputy General Manager this year and beyond."
