Waterford Garda seize cannabis and arrest man in John Street search and seizure
Garda seized suspected cannabis-infused vapes during the operation
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 20s as part of a search and seizure that took place on a premises on John Street on Monday, February 9.
The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 and has subsequently been released without charge.
A quantity of suspected cannabis and cannabis products were seized during the operation, including suspected cannabis-infused vapes.
The understands that there were approximately ten gardaí involved in the operation, with multiple Garda vans also present at the scene.
All seized items will be submitted to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
Gardaí will prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions, with investigations still ongoing.
