Waterford Gardaí discover €12,000 worth of Cocaine

Gardaí recovered an estimated €12,000 worth of cocaine.
Gardaí in Waterford recently discovered a large of amount of cocaine during a vehicle search.
On Wednesday evening, March 5, Gardaí on mobile patrol witnessed a minor road traffic offence by a motorist in Waterford city.
Gardaí then stopped the vehicle under Section 109 RTA (Road Traffic Act) 1961 as amended. Following a search of the vehicle a significant amount of suspected cocaine was discovered.
The cocaine discovered was estimated to be worth €12,000.
A follow-up search under warrant was carried out at the drivers home where a further amount of suspected cocaine was seized.
