Network Ireland Waterford Branch (NIWB) was delighted to host the 'Spotlight 2024 – Women in Business Showcase' recently, in partnership with Waterford Local Enterprise Office.

The event took place at SETU Arena on the outskirts of the city on Wednesday, September 11.

This event provided a platform for a wide variety of women-led businesses and organisations from across County Waterford to exhibit and showcase their products and services.

A spokesperson for NIWB said attendees had opportunities to network, present their businesses and to participate in workshops. The first workshop was led by Megan Casey and focused attention on Transformational Health Habits. Megan’s expertise in health and mindset coaching and her special approach offered participants practical strategies along with deep insights into mental and physical well-being.

The second workshop, presented by Linda Barry, founder of LBT Multi-Dimensional Medicine, addressed the topic of 'Balancing Your Life Inside to Out'. Those in attendance received insight and understanding of their unique bioecology within their body, how trauma impacts our internal communication energy systems and how to best stabilise emotions and help identify the origins of those emotions.

Throughout the evening Waterford Local Enterprise Office staff members were on hand to consult and assist aspiring female entrepreneurs and small business owners with their business-related queries. Attendees commented that the event was inspirational, insightful, heartwarming and energetic.

Speaking after the event NIWB President Sinead O’Neill said: “The pillars of Network Ireland were once again evident during this event, support, collaboration and leadership."

"Our members and guests sharing their journeys, experiences and knowledge is a testament to our theme of empowerment for 2024," she said.

"Each event provided learnings and our two workshops did not disappoint," she added, before commenting that Megan and Linda, both experts in their fields,  brought insights, meaningful takeaways and actionable steps for the participants to create change.
