Waterford District Court has accepted jurisdiction in the case of a break-in at a Waterford Takeaway.

Caeyden Keating (20) of Room 9, Oakwood, Cork Road, Waterford, is accused of theft and burglary at Cleaboy Takeaway on November 1, 2024.

Sergeant John Phelan told the court that it is alleged that €640 in cash was stolen and property was damaged in the break-in.

Judge Kevin Staunton accepted jurisdiction and remanded the defendant on continuing bail until May.
