The Waterford Fire Service has returned to the Comeragh Mountains this morning, after operations were stood down overnight, with smoke from the fire visible at the All Together Now festival at the Curraghmore Estate.

Waterford City and County Council issued an update on social media this morning, where they confirmed the fire is likely to continue burning over the weekend, with no current risk to homes or other buildings in the area.
