A motorist, who was scooting around public roads in a van that was untaxed for almost two years, was stopped by Gardaí in Waterford.
The Waterford Roads Policing Unit stopped the van on Monday evening, August 19.
In a post of the Gardaí social media page they said the van was untaxed for 600 days and after stopping the vehicle they discovered the disc displayed on the vehicle actually belonged to a different vehicle - a Vespa scooter.
The van was subsequently seized and an investigation is now underway.
