'Unacceptable' - Concerns raised over WCLSP impasse
The issue was raised at the April Metro meeting, held in the Southern Regional Assembly.
Questions were raised about the Waterford Community Local Safety Partnership at the recent Metro meeting.
Councillor Lola O'Sullivan (Fine Gael) said that the partnership had not met officially in some time.
She said: "Some (members) have met without a Chairperson and I think this is something our Council should do. I'm particularly highlighting this because I feel the management of the Tramore Garda division isn't acceptable at the moment and there have been a number of burglaries, it seems to be increasing."
Director of Services Michael Quinn said that he would raise the issue with a director "in light of the current hiatus in terms of the Chair."
