Two Waterford sports clubs join forces to support family who lost their home in a fire
The clubs have set up an idonate page called Helping The Hoban Family Rebuild with the goal of raising €25,000
Ballyduff AFC and Ballyduff Lower GAA have come together to raise money for a local family who lost their home in a fire.
The clubs have set up an idonate page called Helping The Hoban Family Rebuild with the goal of raising €25,000.
At the time of writing, the page had received over €8,000 in donations.
On the page, the clubs say: “The Hoban family are valued members of our local community, and now is our opportunity to stand beside them and show that they are not alone.” The funds raised are to go to meeting the families' immediate needs and helping them to rebuild.
“Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference. For anyone unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would also be greatly appreciated.
“Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support,” wrote the clubs.
