Tramore business is closed by Waterford Council

The notice that Cove Street shared with customers having been issued with a notice from Waterford City and County Council.
The devastating news of local business closures within the hospitality sector continues, however, the following closure was issued to the Tramore-based business by Waterford City and County Council.
Cove Street Takeaway Service has been issued with an enforcement letter from the Council, the company explained last weekend, as customers were notified that the business will be closed "for the foreseeable future".
The closure was announced "with great disappointment" and went on to say that the enforcement letter was issued following a complaint about the company's operations, which allege the company is in breach of planning regulations. The company states it does not "agree" but "must comply to avoid legal action".
The company goes on to say that this has created a situation resulting in reduced hours for staff, while "jeopardising" the business, with the company still having to repay their investment.
"This closure also impacts our local suppliers. In these challenging times for small businesses, we hoped that any concerns would have been addressed directly, allowing us to resolve them amicably.
"For the past five years, our goal has been to enhance this side of Tramore, providing a space for the community to enjoy high-quality foods," management added.
"Your support has been invaluable, and we deeply appreciate every one of you. Cove Stores remains open as usual, and now, more than ever, we need your support to ensure we do not become another small business closure story in Ireland," the statement concludes.
