The Addams Family is coming to Waterford this Halloween

Tramore Community Theatre Group has announced its latest production, The Addams Family, running from October 29 to November 1 at the Theatre Royal.
Though the company is just over one year old, Tramore Community Theatre Group has already made a remarkable impact on the local arts scene.
Its debut production in 2024 earned the group a prestigious Waterford News and Star Green Room Award.
Speaking on the latest production, Vicki Graham, co-founder of Tramore Community Theatre Group, “We’re so excited to bring The Addams Family to life at the beautiful Theatre Royal. This show is full of heart, humour, and a touch of the wonderfully weird, it’s everything community theatre should be.
"We’ve grown so much in our first year, and this production is a celebration of that journey and of the amazing talent in Waterford.
“The Addams Family promises to be a crowd-pleaser with laugh-out-loud moments, catchy tunes, and delightfully dark humour. It marks the group’s first full-scale musical, and what better way to celebrate this milestone than by embracing the eccentric, spooky whimsy of one of theatre’s most beloved households.”
The cast includes Gomez: Kieran Walsh, Morticia: Tara Whelan, Wednesday: Alex Kavanagh, Fester: Ray Collins, Grandma: Martina Flynn Shanahan, Pugsley: Noah Kelly, Lurch: Brian Tuohy, Lucas: Adam O Neill, Mal: Leon Sheehan, Alice: Molly May Powell.
Performances begin nightly at 7:30 pm, with tickets priced at €25.
