Teens adventure walk to take place in Waterford

Teenage girls throughout Waterford who are looking for a little adventure should take note of an event due to take place in the Déise county in August.

Waterford Sports Partnership will be holding a fun 5km walk for teenage girls in Glenshelane Woods on Thursday, August 15, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The walk will be led by a qualified instructor from the ISSARD (Ireland’s specialist search and rescue dogs) team.

Participants will get an introduction to basic navigation skills and a special demo with their amazing trained search and rescue dogs.
