Spring season of concerts announced in Waterford

Waterford Music has launched it's spring 2025 concert season
Waterford Music has launched it's spring 2025 concert season, with a host of performances from virtuoso pianists, pipers, guitarists, tenors and more.
There will be five concerts in total this spring season, kicking off with tenor Dean Power and pianist James Hurley on Friday, February 21.
The concerts will take place in the Medieval Museum and Garter Lane while Waterford Music's usual venue, The Dr. Mary Strangman Large Room is undergoing renovations.
On March 5, the all-female Ora Quartet will perform a programme celebrating female composers at Garter Lane, while on 14 March, Waterford Music welcomes Japanese piano virtuoso Yukine Kuroki to the Medieval Museum.
On April 3, Garter Lane will play host to a concert featuring uillean piper David Power, with Marja Gaynor on baroque violin and John Walsh on flamenco guitar.
Guitar will again come to the fore for the final concert of the season on April 11 in the Medieval Museum, when chart-topping Brazilian classical guitarist Plínio Fernandes will perform.

Tickets cost €20 for full-price tickets, €15 for concessions (seniors/unwaged) and €5 for students. Season tickets are available at €75 for five concerts.
