Over thirteen vehicles ransacked in residential area of Waterford City

Gardaí in Waterford City are urging car owners to be extra vigilant in parking and locking their cars after several break-ins.
A number of vehicles were broken into and ransacked in the areas of Ballygunner, Grantstown and Williamstown on the night of May 5 into the morning.
In total, there have been over 13 incidents in this area of the city.
A spokesperson for An Garda Sióchana in Waterford said:
"We are urging people to be extra vigilant when parking and locking their vehicles for the evening. Double-check that the car is locked. Park in a well-lit area and, importantly, if you see anything suspicious, phone 999/112 to report it at the time."
