New website, new look, and great quality content

Reader accessing news online on their smartphone with the latest headlines available.
The Waterford News & Star is celebrating the launch of its new website, which went live at midnight last night, Tuesday, May 7.
The new website will provide the same brilliant, continuous content, with the latest updates for readers on Waterford news, sports and other events around the city and county as they happen.
Recent changes to the look of the print edition of the Waterford News & Star and the launch of the website both reflect the significant investment from the Irish Times in its Regional Newspaper Group, which is an investment that also highlights the importance of local news and the well-established and ever-growing links with the people of Waterford and communities.
The Irish Times and Irish Examiner currently have more than 154,000 subscribers across the group to their online platforms.
As the digital world continues to expand, it's a key focus of the Waterford News & Star that we provide continuous and accessible content for our readers who value accurate and trustworthy journalism, which is something that we pride ourselves on.
Additionally, our website showcases top class photography by our staff photographer, Joe Evans, where we dive back into the archives, in contrast with the best coverage of Waterford's most recent events.
