New facilities and upgrades at St. Anne’s Waterford Tennis Club are approved

St. Anne’s Tennis Club in Waterford City have had upgrade plans approved.

Greenlit plans include the upgrade of the existing facilities with a mini tennis/padel tennis court with permeable surfaces within a transparent enclosure.

Also approved is the development of single and two-storey extensions to the gables of the clubhouse and a reconfiguration of its internal layout.

A practice wall at court eight has been granted permission.

Courts eight and nine will be realigned with improved fencing and a new equipment store.

The shed at the south eastern corner of court one will be demolished, as will stairs and gates at court eight and nine to be replaced with new stairs and a passage/viewing area.
