Over 100 female entrepreneurs and budding businesswomen from across Waterford gathered for this year’s National Women’s Enterprise Day event, which was held on Thursday, October 17, at the Majestic Hotel in Tramore.

The event, a Local Enterprise Office (LEO) initiative, was packed with speakers who that informed and inspired. Jacqui Gaule, senior business advisor at LEO Waterford was delighted with this year’s event, “The event in Tramore was filled with networking, learning and inspiration, and featured an impressive lineup of successful female entrepreneurs."
National Women’s Enterprise Day is Ireland’s largest female enterprise event.
The initiative is aimed at promoting, encouraging and stimulating female entrepreneurship across Ireland.

It is designed and led by women and is an annual high point in promoting entrepreneurship to women throughout the country.
The Local Enterprise Office along with Enterprise Ireland provide a wide range of help, incentives, training, and development programmes to female entrepreneurs and many of these were showcased and highlighted at the event.
The initiative was proudly supported by Waterford Chamber, Network Waterford, and Dungarvan Chamber.

It was one of many events held nationally on October 17, to mark National Women’s Enterprise Day, celebrating and empowering women in business across the country.
