Fourth person arrested in connection with Birchwood attack is released without charge

Gardaí have confirmed this afternoon that a male in his 20s who was arrested on Thursday 22nd October in connection with the Birchwood attack has since been released without charge.
A file will now be prepared for the Direction of Public Prosecutions.
Over the weekend, three other people who were arrested last week in connection with attack were also released without charge
Investigations are ongoing, a spokesperson said.
