Tramore will come alive to the sound of rock music on Saturday, July 27, when it plays host to an outdoor music festival under the banner, 'Tramore Summer Sessions'.

The outdoor event will feature a variety of acts to the town with something to suit all music tastes. The organisers worked hard at ensuring the eclectic line-up will cover a range of styles and thanks to the support of local businesses access to the event will be free of charge.

Designed to be family-friendly, the one-day festival line-up will kick off in the Baldy Man Car Park at 2pm with The Symbolics, followed by the No Clue band at 3.30pm.

Oasis fans are then in for a treat when, at 5pm, Mad Ferritt, Ireland’s original Oasis tribute act composed of local musicians, will take the stage and then at 6.30pm, 18-year-old Jamie Cartwright, from Liverpool will showcase his talent. The event will culminate with a stunning performance by the UK’s Coldplace, a leading tribute to Coldplay, at 8.30pm.

It promises to be a great community event and locals and visitors to Tramore should note the car park next to the Baldy Man/Sands Hotel will close from on Friday, July 26 until Sunday, July 28, for the sessions.
