Multi-agency emergency operation in Dungarvan
The emergency operation happened at Dungarvan Harbour, on Thursday, September 26.
A multi-agency operation occurred earlier today in Dungarvan, Co Waterford.
On Thursday, September 26, emergency services including the fire services, the Coast Guard and the RNLI were at the scene at Dungarvan Harbour.
A helicopter is said to have stopped in Walton Park and went on to transport a person to University Hospital Waterford (UHW).
According to Gardaí: "While there was no Garda-led operation in place, we understand that emergency services rescued an individual from the water at this location earlier this afternoon."
