Missing Kilkenny man may have travelled to Waterford

Thomas Murray is missing from Kilkenny

A man who has been missing from Kilkenny since August 16, may have travelled to Waterford.

The Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Thomas Murray (62), who is missing from Kilkenny City since Friday afternoon, August 16.

In a statement to Waterford News & Star a spokesperson for the Gardaí said Thomas was last seen at approximately 5.30pm that day in Knocktopher, Co Kilkenny.

Thomas is described as being approximately 5 foot 7 inches in height with a heavy build. He has short, grey hair, a grey beard and blue eyes.

When last seen Thomas was wearing a navy zip-up hoodie and navy tracksuit pants with black shoes. 

The Gardaí said it's believed he may have travelled to Waterford. The Gardaí and Thomas' family are concerned for his well-being.
