The holiday period in Waterford saw a charity, memorial swim take place that attracted a very large crowd.
The Michael Power Christmas Day Memorial Swim took place at Kilmurrin Cove on the Copper Coast.
The event has taken place for 40 years and each year raises money for charity. This year's beneficiary was the Boatstrand Sea Safety Centre.
The organisers of the swim very much appreciate the support it receives. Photographer, John Power was on hand to capture the people who braved the cool waters to give their support to the fundraiser.
