Meeting House Lane one-way traffic causing issues in Waterford

Road users are driving both ways up and down Meeting House Lane, a one-way road. 

At the January meeting of the Metropolitan Council, Councillor Eamon Quinlan (Fianna Fáil) said that the lane was causing issues in the city.

He stated: "Unfortunately at this moment in time I and others have frequently seen cars trying to drive up and down the road at the exact same time. It's causing to witness a serious altercation between two motors coming into each other because the signage and the usage of the street is constantly fluctuating."

Waterford Executive said that they would revert on the issue 'in due course'.
