Man in UHW following assault in Ballybeg

Gardaí attended the scene of an assault near a domestic residence in Ballybeg, Waterford City, shortly after 9.15pm on Thursday, March 26.
A male, aged in his 20s, was brought to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
It is understood that an implement was used during the incident and that the man suffered a head injury.
In a statement to the Waterford News & Star, a spokesperson for the Gardaí said: "Investigations are ongoing."
