Man in his 80s dies after Mooncoin road collision

A man in his 80s has since died.
A man in his 80s has died nearly two weeks after a road collision in Mooncoin, Co Kilkenny.
The road collision happened on Saturday, September 21, when Gardaí were alerted to the incident at approximately 7.30pm.
The collision involved a motorcycle and pedestrian in the village of Mooncoin.
The male pedestrian was taken to the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for treatment, but has since passed away.
An Garda Síochána are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
According to Gardaí: "Any road users or pedestrians who were in Mooncoin village at the time or travelling through on the N24 between 7:00pm and 8:00pm and have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí."
