Khan will be sentenced next month.

A man has pleaded guilty to possession of thousands of euro worth of cannabis.

Aaron Khan, of Deerpark, Lismore, Co Waterford, was arraigned at Waterford Circuit Court last week before Judge Eugene O'Kelly. 

Khan was found to be in possession of a quantity of the drug at his home on July 7, 2022, when the market value of the drugs was €13,000 or more.

The 34-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of possession contrary to Section 13a of the Misuse of Drugs Act, whereby a person is found guilty "for the manufacture, production, preparation, sale, supply, distribution and possession of that drug". He will be sentenced next month.
