Man arrested after burglary in city centre
A man was arrested and subsequently charged in relation to the incident.
A man was arrested in relation to an alleged break-in at a business premises in Waterford City centre.
The incident happened in the early hours of Thursday, August 6.
A spokesperson for the Gardaí confirmed to Waterford News & Star that an incident took place.
"Gardaí were alerted to a burglary incident at a business premises at Barronstrand Street, Co. Waterford in the early hours of Thursday, August 6," the spokesperson told this newspaper.
"A man (aged in his 30s) was later arrested by Gardaí in connection with this incident," he added.
The man was since charged and is due to appear before a district court sitting at a later date.

There are unconfirmed reports that the man may have fallen through the roof of the building during the break-in.
