O'Neill will be produced in person to Waterford Courthouse next week for the presentation of the Book of Evidence.

A man charged with murder will appear at Waterford District Court next week. 

Marcus O'Neill (34), of 15 O'Brien Street, Waterford City, is charged with the murder of Gillian Curran in January of this year.

He has been in custody since January. A Book of Evidence has been prepared and will be presented to the court at his upcoming hearing on Tuesday morning, August 19. 

Mr O'Neill will be produced in person in court on that date. 

Coming off record

On Tuesday, August 12, Mr O'Neill appeared via video link at Waterford District Court before Judge Miriam Walsh. 

Solicitor Kenneth Cunningham informed Judge Walsh that he was coming off record and that solicitor Derrick Connors would be coming on record for Mr O'Neill. Mr Connors confirmed the assertion.
