Locals are ‘very worried’ about a largescale wind farm development that is penned at Lyrenacarriga in West Waterford.

Cllr Conor McGuinness and Donnchadh Mulcahy had a roadside meeting with residents of Glendine, Kilwatermoy and Knockanore to discuss their concerns about the proposed wind farm.

Speaking this week, Cllr Mulcahy said, “Last Friday, myself and Conor went to meet some very worried people, about 20 people at a crossroads in Glendine”. He added that a mast has already been erected where the wind turbines are planned.
