Large scale motor home park planned in Tramore

A planning application has been submitted for the development of a large scale motor home park at Tramore Burrow.

The submitted plans outline the construction of an 11,420 sqm motor home park to include 52 motor home pitches inclusive of 3 disabled pitches, and 4 fully accessible family friendly glamping pods.

A surf club building is also planned, which will include a wet suit and surf board store and a roof top terrace seating area with an overhead canopy.

A 1,458 sqm street food plaza is planned to include 8 street food trucks, and a 2 storey café building with indoor terrace seating is part of the plans.

Also included is 7 electricity and water service points, 3 external bicycle stands, a motor home ancillary building, single storey kitchen building and a single storey laundry building.

A decision from Waterford City and County Council on the application submitted by Aengus Rory Walsh is expected by December 23.
