Craftworkers from County Waterford were among those who exhibited their wares at the Craft Market initiative that was held recently at the Medieval Mile Museum in Kilkenny.
The event was organised in conjunction with the Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) and took place from August 9 to 11.
The pop-up market was part of the 'Made Local' initiative in the museum.
Visitors to the Kilkenny Arts Festival were given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the craft and design market in the picturesque grounds of the museum and enjoy the work of an array of makers presenting a wonderful range of pieces.

The unique market offered the opportunity to discover and purchase original, high-quality Irish-made products, showcasing Irish makers' exceptional creativity and skill, at price points to suit everyone.
Among the Waterford creatives who exhibited their works were Lynne Shead, of Natures Alchemy, and Robyn Caie, of Cementique, who were delighted to be involved with initiative and proud to represent the Déíse.
This intimate setting allowed visitors to engage directly with the designers and makers, gaining insights into the creative process and inspiration behind each piece.
Commenting on the launch of the 'Made Local Craft Market', Suzy O’Keefe, Head of Digital & Communications said: "We are delighted to present our first standalone Made Local Craft market at the Kilkenny Arts Festival and as part of August Craft Month."

She said the three-day event offered "an incredible opportunity" for people to meet the talented makers and purchase Irish handmade crafts.
"This initiative reinforces our dedication to supporting and promoting Irish craft and design," she said.
"The market displayed a number of talented Made Local craftspeople from various disciplines including woodwork, jewellery, and skincare providing an exceptional experience for those seeking high-quality handmade products," she added.
The Made Local Craft Market was made possible through the support of partners including Kilkenny Civic Trust; Kilkenny Local Enterprise Office (LEO), and Kilkenny County Council.
